Our puzzles are made from premium 0.2" thick paper stock and include a semi-gloss coating on the top surface to make the image pop. Puzzles are available in two different sizes, and each puzzle includes a puzzle box with the artwork printed on the top for safe storage when you're not puzzling. The puzzle pieces are unique shapes.

In this work I wanted to explore textures, using painted-on sections of raised relief found objects, such as wallpaper scraps, and working into them to create a frosted, crystalised feel for dandelion seedheads, love in the mist pods, and broad-leafed plantain wild flowers. The idea of frosted leaves came later in development to lend variation of colour and to provide a 'grounding' for the whole composition.
Artist and illustrator in natural history, botanical painting, generic landscape, still life. A love of detailed observation of the natural world, vivid colours, textures and decorative effects hopefully all come together in my work. Stylistic influences medieval paintings, the Pre-Raphaelites and the decorative art movements, so it's clear I enjoy line, colour and detail. I love the journey through a drawing or painting, from initial brief or idea, to processes, to final result. Having taught my own art classes for ten years, I drew these to a close a few years ago to make more time for my creative writing, which dovetails beautifully with my painting.
